LSA Burger Co. and the Greater Denton Arts Council (GDAC) announces a call for submissions in support of the 2026 LSA Mural Art Project in the heart of Downtown Denton, Texas. The murals will be painted on the rooftop floor of LSA from May 1-3, 2026 as part of a broader initiative to raise funds & awareness for GDAC as well as showcase the visual arts community in North Texas.

In collaboration with the Greater Denton Arts Council (GDAC), LSA Burger Co. hosts its Annual Mural Art Project. Now in its 9th year, six artists curated by a committee led by GDAC will have the opportunity to replace the murals marked on the second-floor walls over the weekend of May 1, 2026.
Selected artists will be given one blank spot on the rooftop of the Denton location of LSA in historic Downtown Denton. LSA will have it primed in white and waiting for each artist, who will be provided with a stipend for supplies prior to the start of the event. Please note that, as the space is very open, guests will be able to observe your progress. Additionally, since both Texas art and music are celebrated at LSA, keep in mind that there may be live music performed on one of the nights that you will be working.
Please fill out the following form and Submit at least 3 previous examples of work in the style you are wanting to create. Artists that are selected will be asked to submit their mural concept for approval.
Concepts must be appropriate for all ages. Representatives from GDAC and The Radical Hospitality Group will review all submissions and notify each selected artist no later than March 21st, 2026.
